AIMSC provides a wide range of services to our members (corporate and Government organisations) and our Certified suppliers, including:
- certification and mentoring of AIMSC Certified suppliers, ensuring businesses in our network are majority Indigenous owned, controlled and managed
- introductions for AIMSC members to innovative, competitive products and services supported by AIMSC personnel
- advice on integrating the essentials of the Indigenous Opportunity Policy (IOP) and Exemption to the Mandatory Procurement Procedures for Indigenous SMEs into procurement and purchasing policies and processes
- advocacy, information exchange and research into the integration of Indigenous business and employment growth in the Australian community
- networking opportunities for like-minded companies committed to improving opportunities for Indigenous Australians to participate in business.

Achievements to date
Since commencing in 2009 AIMSC has achieved the following:
- $11.097m worth of transactions between AIMSC members and AIMSC Certified suppliers
- $22.631m Contracts awarded to AIMSC Certified suppliers
- 128 members from corporate Australia, not-for-profit companies and Australian Government agencies committed to doing business with AIMSC Certified suppliers
- 120 Indigenous businesses Certified by AIMSC and ready to do business
