Registration Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to your event registration with the Australian Indigenous Minority Supplier Council (AIMSC) for your attendance at the conference, trade show, and/or gala dinner (as applicable) from 3 to 4 April 2012. By applying to register to attend conference, trade show, and/or gala dinner, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Confirmation of registration by AIMSC will be made via the contact details provided following receipt of full payment.  Tax invoices/ receipts will be provided upon receipt of full payment.

Registrations received after the closing date of 20 March 2012 will incur a late fee of $100. Payment in full is required by 5pm AEST on 20 March 2012.  A full event registration package is for one individual for the full event. One registration may not be utilised by several individuals.

By selecting a specific registration rate, you warrant that the registrant is a current member/certified supplier or recognised stakeholder of AIMSC and that the registration is made on that basis. A breach of this warranty may result in a cancellation of an event registration and/or AIMSC affiliation.

Substitutions: Should a registrant be unable to attend, they may send one substitute in their place. AIMSC must be notified of all substitutions prior to the event in writing. AIMSC event registrations are not transferable to parties other than AIMSC members, AIMSC Certified Indigenous business suppliers or recognised stakeholders.

Any registrations received by this time without payment will be invoiced for the full registration amount. Contact connect@aimsc.org.au for further information.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received in writing. An administration fee of $100 per registrant will apply for cancellations notified before the Early Bird Closing Date. Cancellations notified between the Early Bird Closing Date and the Closing Date will forfeit 50% of the total registration payable (GST included). Cancellations notified after the Closing Date will not be refunded. Substitutions are permitted at no extra charge subject to notification in writing to AIMSC and these terms and conditions.

Privacy policy: AIMSC is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We support the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). AIMSC collects and stores your personal information for the purposes of providing services, development programs, and improving and promoting products and service.  By providing your details as part of the registration process, you consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information by AIMSC.

In registering for this event, relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name, organisation and state). Further details may also be made available to parties directly related to the event including This Space Event Studio Pty Ltd , various other venues and accommodation providers (for the purpose of room bookings and event options). AIMSC Connect 2010 Business Opportunity Fair Exhibitors will be supplied with the full name, title, organisation, and details of those delegates who do not ‘opt out’. Should you not wish for your details to be passed on for any of the above purposes, please contact connect@aimsc.org.au.

Image Release: In registering for AIMSC events and conferences, delegates grant permission to AIMSC, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for AIMSC. Please contact AIMSC in writing if you do not wish for your images to be used at connect@aimsc.org.au.

Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from AIMSC in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, AIMSC and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a delegate not agree to the above image release, they must advise AIMSC by contacting connect@aimsc.org.au.

Special Dietary/Physical Requirements: AIMSC will not cater for special dietary or physical requirements unless requested before the Closing Date. Please email connect@aimsc.org.au with your specifications.

AIMSC reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to an AIMSC event, or eject any person from an AIMSC event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by AIMSC staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority.

AIMSC reserves the right to make changes to the program at any time as circumstances dictate. Every effort will be made to ensure that AIMSC arranges an alternate program of equivalent standard and value should any unavoidable changes have to be made.  If any event to which these terms and conditions relate is postponed, the registrant will not be entitled to a refund, however any fees paid will be applied to the rescheduled event. Please note that registration places are limited and will be allocated on a strictly 'first in' payment basis. In the event that no space is available, you will be notified immediately. If you do not receive a confirmation letter, please contact us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIMSC’s liability to you for all claims under or relating to these terms and conditions, your registration and your attendance at the trade show or gala dinner whether in contract, tort (including without limitation negligence), in equity, under statute, under an indemnity, based on fundamental breach or breach of a fundamental term or on any other basis, is limited to the registration fees paid by you.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

These terms and conditions may only be varied by agreement between the parties in writing.

Tradeshow Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to your trade show booth booking with the Australian Indigenous Minority Supplier Council (AIMSC). By requesting a trade show booth booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. All prices are inclusive of GST.

Bookings will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. Bookings will be accepted on a “first in” payment basis. Registrations received after the closing date of 20 March 2011 may incur a late fee of $100. Payment in full is required by 20 March 2012.

Once your registration has been approved by AIMSC, an invoice will be sent out to you to confirm your booking.  If you do not receive an invoice confirming your booking, please contact us.

By selecting a specific rate, you warrant that the organisation requesting the booking is a current member/certified supplier or recognised stakeholder of AIMSC and that the booking is made on that basis. A breach of this warranty may result in a cancellation of an event registration and/or AIMSC affiliation.  You also warrant that you hold all necessary permits, approvals, licences and permissions which relate to your participation and association with the trade show.

To be eligible for the Early Bird discounted rate, the booking request and payment must be received by midnight AEST on 18 November 2011. Any booking requests received by this time without payment will be invoiced for the full amount. Contact connect@aimsc.org.au for further information.

It is a condition of your participation in the trade show that you have Public Liability Insurance in respect of personal injury to persons, or property damages to a minimum of $10 million.
