Preparation: What to consider

AIMSC members who will be attending the conference and tradeshow will have specific requirements in mind and others will want to understand your business for future partnerships. We suggest you prepare and bring the following with you to best showcase your products or services:

  • Small flyers or giveaways that clearly details what your business offers, remember to include all products and services, don’t assume that your business name would provide all the detail.
  • Business cards - please ensure you have ample business cards as you may also be attending networking functions as well as providing to prospective clients at the tradeshow. We recommend bringing minimum of 250.
  • Portfolio - a simple folder with dynamic images/visuals of past and present projects provides you with a good talking point. You could consider putting this onto a laptop and have it scrolling on your stand.
  • Samples of your product - if your business has a product we suggest bringing samples of your product for people to try or view. Please note any consumable items such as food products need to have prior approval from the venue. If necessary please fill in the attached form detailing your product samples.
  • Literature - if you have multiple literature, items or giveaways, a branded bag could also be provided for people to carry your details in.
  • Presentations / multi-media: if you have a presentation or film illustrating your products and services ensure you bring a laptop/iPad with you to show this on your stand.  You may wish to consider ordering a screen to make it more visible and attract people to your booth.
  • Website - please ensure your website is current and functioning with correct contact details. Many prospective buyers will view your website prior to placing orders.
  • Pull up banners - if you have a pull up banner/s this can be displayed behind your table on your stand.
