If you are an Indigenous business that is majority owned, controlled and managed by Indigenous personnel, we can help you become a AIMSC Certified Supplier.
Being an AIMSC Certified Supplier opens your business up to a wide network of Australian companies and Government agencies ready and willing to work with you and help you to grow your business.
You will also have access to AIMSC events including our Annual Business Opportunity Fair/Tradeshow as well as business development, mentoring and support provided by AIMSC’s strategic partners.
What is AIMSC certification?
AIMSC certification means that we are confident that your business meets our criteria, including:
- ownership – at least 51 per cent ownership of the company by an Indigenous Australian(s)
- management – the company is lead/managed by a Principal Executive Officer who is an Indigenous Australian
- control – the key business decisions regarding the company’s finances, operations, personnel and strategy are made by an Indigenous Australian(s)
- for profit – the company is able to distribute its equity to members or others trading as a business – that is, your company has goods, services and/or products to sell
- Australian business is located in Australia
It gives our member companies the confidence that your business has majority Indigenous ownership and the ability to provide the services required.
